Description Orascom Construction (OC) was awarded several contracts for the Damietta LNG sea terminal, some of which were awarded in partnership with BESIX and Bouygues. The Damietta LNG sea terminal is the third largest LNG trains in the world with an output capacity of 5 million metric tons of LNG a year, and was the world's largest when it came onstream in 2005
Scope OC's scope of work included the construction of the jetty and marine works, the civil works including LNG storage tanks, piling works on the liquefaction plant, general utilities, and steel supply and fabrication
